Just a quick post to announce that our new forum is now live.

The decision was taken a short while ago to move our forum from the open source phpBB, mainly due to the sheer number of spam attacks or idiots bypassing the extremelylax security measures within phpBB, security holes which the community just could not keep up with. We decided to move to the far more secure VBulletin, and have been porting our entire forum to the new platform.

As you can imagine with the size of our forum, this was no simple task, especially as we wanted to keep as much information, posts, statistics and any other meta data from the forum, but ensure that users were able to benefit from the other many benefits that the new forum platform brings. This is why the forum was down for a short while, however all is now rosey.

All acounts do exist within the new forum, so you will still have all your accounts and posts you had made. If you do have any issue logging in, simply run a ‘I’ve forgot my password’ request which will get you on your way.

In the event that you do find any issues that we have missed, we would be very grateful if you could grab a screenshot and email it to us, or drop a post into the forum letting us know.
