When we install a World at War game server we always ensure that it comes installed with all the necessary config files, configured to make it easy to get straight into playing.
Additionally, as all our game servers are automatically installed upon completion of your order, they are usually accesible within a matter of hours, coupled with the fact that it is already set up and playable, and we really do make it easy to dive straight in.
That’s not all, our server control panel makes managing your server and it's configs a breeze too, allowing you to upload and manage a number of config files, or edit your live config on the fly thanks to our in built config editor.
Our BF2 barebones servers are designed exactly what you need, nothing more.
This allows us to reduce the price of a player slot dramatically, meaning you are only paying for exactly what you need, nothing more.
So no more paying for voice server slots, web hosting or a fast redirect service that you don't need, simply just pay us for the Battlefield 2 game server, that's it.
And don't worry, just because this barebones BF2 server is cheaper, you will still get the same level of expert support and service that we have always delivered to our customers.
Without a doubt this has been one of the most anticipated games of 2008. With world at War, the Call of Duty series has returned to world war two, and does so with a bang! Although the return to the WW2 format may seem like a backward step, when playing it you can see just why so many people are saying it's an example of modern gaming at it's best.
World at War is set in the pacific theatre, and isn't just limited to the usual Anglo-American vs' German soldiors. World at War brings the Japanese and Soviets into the fray allowing for some very exciting battles indeed. Coupling the existing Call of Duty game mechanics with new weaponary advancments such as the flamethrower, and all new vehicular weaponary opens up the game with some very interesting possibilities.
As World at War runs on the original COD4 engine, it is understandable that it has retained a lot of the similar elements associated with Modern Warfare. The perks system is still there, with a few tweaks obviously, all new killstreak rewards and the much anticipated return of capture the flag game mode. The other game modes are still there, such as Headquarters, Team Deathmatch, Search & Destroy, all allowing the usual customisation options, so although a different war, you should still feel welcome.
