Whether you order a standard DODS server, a 66 tick or a 100 tick DODS game server, you will usually be able to start using it within just a few hours of completing your order. This is thanks to our fully automated provisioning, which not only ensures that the necessary game server files are there, but also takes care of installing some basic maps, and creates a fully working set of config files.
Adding custom content top your server is as easy as 1,2,3, whether you are installing content you already have locally, content you have found elsewhere, or from our extensive library. So, if you want to upload content from else where, there’s the option to upload it directly via an ftp connection directly to your DODS server directory or the built-in file manager. But if you’re felling lazy, you can simply use the server control panel’s automated download and installation function that literally does the hard work for you, so it doesn’t matter if its just a custom map, a mod plug-in or HLTV, it’s just the click of a mouse button away.
If you intend to use your server for various types of game play, such as clan matches and public access, you can create and manage a number of alternative config files using the panel’s built in config file editor. Once created, you can manage them with ease, alternating between them as and when you choose.

Day of Defeat Source, DoD:S (as it is also known), is a fine example of yet another groundbreaking game to take advantage of the raw power available in the Source™ game engine.
Sticking with the original format, DoD:S is a collation of the immersive yet fun atmosphere prevalent in the original Day of Defeat game, with the addition of groundbreaking graphical and sound enhancements, such as High Dynamic Lighting range, and film grain effects.
Incidentally, still being set in “That War”, is by no means an indication that this game is a stale rehash of an outstanding original, far from it. Thanks to some slight tweaks to how certain game types work, and the available weaponry, this new outing feels as fresh as it did when the original was launched.
