CS 1.6
Bought it this weekend having never played it before, and it's definately worth a fiver!
To be honest, i'm a pretty retro gamer, I love my Sega Megadrive and N64 still, always buying games for them...So to play CS 1.6 which is really old, and a game which basically defines the games I play today is really fun and nice
Feels so odd having everything so basic and simple, but it's blatently obvious even within the simplicity of it just why so many people played it, and why it has become so popular even after its conversion to Source!
I have to say, I love the Famas on 1.6, it's lush :]

Re: CS 1.6
Ive brought it this week, Althought the graphics are dated ( But Then So Is Source ), you have to be more accurate. and the gameplay just seems to be a lot better dunno why, i love the Buy your ammo section, why did they lose it in Source..
been on a CS1.6 surf server though and i prefer the Source version of that, but i do agree well worth a fiver, even if you just play Single player
Very impressed...

Re: CS 1.6
I was just utterly shocked at how little they changed between 1.6 and Source, yet they still maintain a high level of sucess within it. I dont even mean shocked in a bad way...Just how they implemented no new weapons, a slight change in recoil and aim and a couple of maps yet millions still transferred from 1.6 to Source and are still playing years later...It's genius!

Re: CS 1.6
Yes aggread, haven't yet looked at all the weapons, But the major differnece bettween the 2 in my eyes in GFX, just looks better in my opinion on Source, not to say that cs1.6 is a lower game as i said i think im going to get into 1.6 more than source as to me its not a spray and pray game

Re: CS 1.6
to be honest, i started playing source in 2006. i just bought 1.6 a few days ago...one of the most difficult games to get used to...the nades roll and bounce and pretty much float in the air. i'm terrible at it rofl

Re: CS 1.6
I have Counter Strike Source and I've always wanted to try 1.6 but I can never find a place that has it in stock
. My friends play it competitively and I've wanted to play with them.
