Team Fortress 2 now free to play!

As the title suggests people the ever popular Team Fortress 2 has been released as free to play by steam!

I suggest anyone with half a brain gets this epic masterpiece of a game and joins some of us XTR staff for some games...obviously when we get the time!

Not entirely sure if that was a good idea or not, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

TF2 is one of the best games around though

Well (according to steam stats page) it's got more people playing it than cs already and that's quite an accomplishment.

What I'm worried about is the possible influx of hackers and whatnot. And the servers seem broken after the update yet again

You really should, the game is brilliant

Though like I said it's got some server problems. I'm guessing valve didn't think so many people would be interested in it

What I'm really looking forward to is the next version.

Making it f2p would get more players that could, hopefully, buy the next version, because they already have a taste of what TF is.

I really hope that's the tactic Valve chose.

I wonder how would a TF3 be..
