CSS - it's a lot more popular online now , and is easier to get good at rather than 1.6 which people have been playing for 6 / 7 years ( i played it 6 years ago and have been playing source since )

LMAO SOOOO WRONG. you want reg, go to source. here is my breakdown

Source: Realistic in terms of gfx, large hit boxes, fast game play, not much competition and prizes, rapidly growing community, Fun, and lastly amazing mods and addons.

1.6: ****TY GFX, realistic hit boxes(small, but off) and recoil, Lots of money and prizes, tough competition, tough to "go places" or go pro(very dificult game to compete in), cool mods, and surfing is funner in 1.6 =D

In my opinion, it can get boring. I played for 5 years and said i would never go source "source is for fags". I finally went source and said, "WOW, amazing. i cant believe i played 1.6 for that long." i have been playing source for 6 months now and am currently competing in CAL-intermediate on Team Contrived.

Source is vastly better graphics wise but game play is so much more enjoyable in 1.6 and requires much more skill to become a higher level'd gamer

i think servers in css aswell are generally maintained better aswell.
