All our Quake 3 Game Servers come pre-installed with ready-made config files and map, and are ready to be played on within just a few hours of your order being confirmed. This is down to our fully automated installation process, aimed at making getting your game server up and running as stress free as possible.

Once your Q3 game server is installed, if you wish, you can begin customising it with one of the various mods available, or with the maps within our huge collection. Installing custom mods and maps is simple, thanks to our game server control panel taking care of the downloading and installing of the mod or map for you, all you have to do is choose. For those who have their own content stored locally, we also provide direct ftp access, and a built in file manager to make uploading it as simple as possible.

Your config file/s can also be uploaded and managed using the file manager system however it is much simpler using the control panels live config editor function, which allows you to edit your config on the fly.

Game Details

Quake 3 Arena, or just Q3A, is the third title in the Quake series and differs from the previous games in the series in that it excludes the normal single-player element, instead focusing on multiplayer action. The solo experience in Q3 is arena combat versus AI (Artificial Intelligence) opponents.

Having being specifically designed for multiplayer game style has allowed for the development of the game to focus more heavily on ensuring the multiplayer aspect is of the highest quality. Which is great news for gamers, as due to the work that’s gone into them; the guns and levels undeniably provide some of the best online gaming experiences around.

And thanks to the now statuary modding community that comes with online games, there are thousands of mods and tweaks available to ensure that the fun will just keep on coming.
