Server Details

Each TF2 game server is automatically installed, and set up with all necessary config files and maps, to ensure you have to do as little as possible to get your server up and running. Simply select whether you want a standard tick, 66Tick server or a 100 Tick server and follow the on screen prompts. The process will begin the moment you have confirmed your order, and the server is usually available within just a few hours.

The TF2 server is fully customisable, with a huge selection of custom maps and mods to choose from. Installing your selected maps and mods couldn’t be easier, thanks to the game server control panel, which allows you to simply select which ones you want. The installer then takes care of both downloading and installing the custom content on your server. However, you can still do things the old fashioned way, via the built in file manager or ftp connection to the server, which also gives you the added bonus of uploading your own custom content.

Having the ability to edit your configs directly from within the control panel further adds to the simplicity of managing your server. And makes managing a number of config files for various pre-configured game styles is also as simple as can be.

Team Fortress 2 (or TF2 as it is usually abbreviated to) is a sequel to the manically fun game that was Team Fortress Classic. Sticking with its class-based, multiplayer team warfare approach, one of the key improvements it’s the graphics. Not content with just improving the quality, the game has also further enhanced its stereotype animated graphic style.

Additionally, the number of weapons and classes has increased, again further enhancing the stereotypical approach to class characteristics to ensure that every ounce of fun is squeezed out of the game, and that’s before you’ve actually started to play it!!

TF2 is without a doubt the most graphically advanced of all the online source games, and possibly one of the most fun to boot.
