The fully automated installation process provisions the game server complete with the necessary maps and a full working set of config files, in order to allow you to get straight into the game. And because we use this method, there’s no waiting around, you can usually be on your game server within a few hours from making the purchase.

As soon as your game server is installed, you can begin customising it with custom maps and mods. You can do this by either using the server control panel’s built in installer, which allows you to simply choose what maps, mods or plug-ins you want from our pre-built list, then let it get on with the installation. Alternatively there’s always the option to upload them using either the file manager or by connecting to your server’s directory over ftp.

Managing and changing your config files is just as simple thanks to the server control panels built in config editor and management service. Meaning you can have numerous files, for various clan match or game type set-ups.

Game Details

This is by far one of the greatest online fps games of all time, one that certainly put the fun element back into the fps genre. Developed as a modification of the classic game Quake, Team Fortress offers the player fast paced action delivered in a light- hearted manor.

With a whole heap of character classes to choose from there is without doubt something for everyone, ranging from medics to spy, to demolitions. Team Fortress also provides players with the option of many, many wonderful weapons to choose from.

Don’t be fooled by this game however, as it couldn’t be further from the generic fps that you are all used to. The game’s light-hearted, humorous take on the fps genre, coupled with its slightly cartoony feel are what has earned this the recognised description of “Looney Toons meets quake”!!
