XTR Clan Sponsorship

One thing we have always been aware of throughout our collective gaming years, is that GSP’s have always been reluctant to sponsor gaming clans, well not at XTR.

We actually believe in sponsorship, and actively promote our sponsorship programme. Our clan sponsorship programme is designed to not only provide experienced clans with additional funds and resources, but also will allow junior level clans get a foot on to the professional ladder.

Obviously sponsorship is used as a marketing tool by companies, and this is why some companies often neglect sponsoring smaller clans, as they feel that the return on the sponsorship investment doesn’t warrant the time or effort, and this to us seems unfair.

As such we have created a tiered sponsorship programme that enables clans of all sizes and marketability to gain sponsorship, especially those that wouldn’t normally be able to do so. Although every sponsorship agreement is different, they will still fall into one of three groups of sponsorship, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

As mentioned the above list is just a suggestion of what we can offer. Just how much of that you get depends on the size and exposure of your clan, which is where the 3 sponsorship groups come from.

When applying there are a few things we would like to hear about your clan, which we have outlined below, though please feel free to give as much info as you like.

And, where is the bronze level sponsorship I hear you ask...

The bronze sponsorship is available to anyone who is signed up to the XTR affiliate scheme, and acts as a stepping stone for clans who are just starting out. Ok, so it’s not exactly a sponsorship in the traditional sense, but it does get you some additional perks that come with the sponsorship programme, such as invites to organised fun days, or a dedicated area in the XTR forum, ideal for smaller clans who may not have a website or forum up and running yet.
